Thrivent High Yield A (LBHYX Free Report) invests the majority of its assets in high risk, high-yield bonds and other debt securities. LBHYX seeks growth of capital and income. The fund invests mainly in “junk bonds.” Thrivent High Yield A has one-year annualized returns of almost 8%.

LBHYX has an expense ratio of 0.81% compared with the category average of 1.03%.

Thrivent Limited Maturity Bond Fund A (LBLAX Free Report) seeks a high level of income. LBLAX invests the lion’s share of its assets in preferred stocks or debt securities that are rated in the Baa or BBB categories. The fund focuses primarily on bonds with maturities between one and five years. Thrivent Limited Maturity Bond A has returned 1.8% in a year. 

As of July 2017, LBLAX held 473 issues, with 13.68% of its assets invested in 2 Year US Treasury Note Future Sept17.

Thrivent Income A (LUBIX Free Report) seeks a high level of income and growth of capital for the long run. LUBIX invests more than 65% of its assets in investment-grade preferred stocks and debt securities. The fund invests generally in asset-backed securities, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities and government bonds. Thrivent Income A has returned 2.8% in a year’s time.
